http://www.patioproductions.com/blog/gardens/papaya-fruit-of-the-month/

Papaya or “PawPaw” as it’s called in other countries is our Fruit of the Month! Get excited! The two most common types of papaya are grown in Hawaii and Mexico. Hawaiian Papaya can be distinguished by its yellowish skin, sweet tasting meat, and a weight of around 1 pound. Mexican Papaya has a reddish-orange skin and tastes much milder in comparison to its Hawaiian counterpart. Weighing in at 10 pounds, Mexican papaya is noticeable larger in size.
